Getting Started
What is MinitTV?

MinitTV is a platform for serialized short-form video stories — think episodic shows you can binge one episode at a time for just $0.20 each. Stories span Sci-Fi, Action, Drama, Humor, Thriller, and more.

You only pay for what you watch. No subscriptions, no lock-in.

Do I need an account to watch?

You can browse all stories for free without an account. Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are free — no login required.

To watch paid episodes (Episode 3+), you'll need to create a free account and add funds to your balance.

How do I create an account?
  1. Click Sign Up from any page
  2. Enter your email and choose a password
  3. That's it — your account is ready instantly

No credit card required to register. You only pay when you choose to add funds.

Funding Your Account
How does the balance system work?

Your MinitTV balance is a prepaid wallet. You deposit funds, and each episode you unlock deducts $0.20 from your balance automatically. No need to enter payment details every time you want to watch.

Example: Deposit $10 → watch up to 50 episodes before you need to top up.
What is the minimum deposit?

The minimum deposit is $10.00. This gives you up to 50 episodes of content — plenty to explore the platform and find your favourite series.

Deposits are processed securely via Stripe. Your card details are never stored on MinitTV.

Can I withdraw unused balance?

Yes. You can withdraw your remaining balance at any time from your account page, subject to a $10.00 minimum and a $1.00 processing fee per withdrawal.

Withdrawal example:
Request $15.00 → Processing fee $1.00 → You receive $14.00

Withdrawals are processed within 5–10 business days.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor trusted by millions of businesses. MinitTV never sees or stores your full card number.

How Watching Works
How much does an episode cost?

Each episode costs $0.20 to unlock. Once unlocked, you can rewatch it as many times as you like — it stays permanently in your account.

Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are always free.

Once I unlock an episode, can I rewatch it?

Yes — you're charged once per episode unlock, not per view. You can rewatch any unlocked episode anytime from your account, as long as the content remains available on the platform.

Are there refunds if I accidentally unlock an episode?

Episode purchases are generally non-refundable once unlocked. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from watching a purchased episode, contact us within 7 days at support@minit.tv.

What devices can I watch on?

MinitTV works in any modern web browser — on desktop, phone, or tablet. No app download required. The player automatically adjusts for landscape and portrait videos.

Content Policy
What kind of content is allowed on MinitTV?

MinitTV hosts original serialized fiction — stories with compelling plots and real creative effort. Dark themes, complex characters, and mature storytelling are welcome when handled thoughtfully.

Content involving nudity, graphic violence, hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or copyright infringement is prohibited and will be removed. Read the full Content Policy →

How does MinitTV moderate content?

Every story goes through a human review before it appears on Browse. Moderators check for prohibited content, quality, and originality. Stories that pass appear as published; those that don't are returned to the creator with a reason.

If you see content that violates our rules, email support@minit.tv and we'll investigate.

Becoming a Creator
Who can become a creator?

Anyone. If you have stories to tell in short-form video, you can become a MinitTV creator. Apply on the Creator page — applications are reviewed promptly.

How do I upload my stories and episodes?
  1. Log into your Creator Dashboard
  2. Click New Story and fill in the title, description, genre, and cover image
  3. Open the story and click Add Episode to upload your video files
  4. Episodes are priced at $0.20 each (fixed platform rate) — toggle each episode live when ready

New uploads default to published and appear on the Browse page immediately.

What video formats are supported?

MinitTV supports MP4 and WebM video formats. Both landscape (16:9) and portrait (9:16) orientations are supported — the player auto-detects and adjusts the layout.

Maximum file size per upload: 500 MB.

What content rules do I need to follow?

Your content must comply with MinitTV's Content Policy before it appears on Browse. Key rules: no nudity, no graphic violence for shock value, no hate speech, no harassment, no content that infringes copyright, and no impersonation of real people.

Dark themes and mature storytelling are fine — the distinction is artistic intent vs. gratuitous content. Review the full rules before submitting: Content Policy →

How You Earn
How much do I earn per episode?

It depends on how the viewer found you:

Scenario Creator Earns Curator Earns MinitTV
Organic (no curator) $0.10 $0.10
Curator-referred view $0.10 $0.05 $0.05
Creator always earns $0.10 per episode. Curator splits are fixed at $0.05 per referred sale — no setup required on your end. Attracting curators grows your audience at zero cost to you.
How much do episodes cost, and how is revenue split?

All episodes are priced at $0.20 each — this is a platform-wide fixed rate, not something you configure. You always earn $0.10 per episode regardless of how the viewer found your content. When a curator refers a sale, they earn $0.05 from the platform share — not from your cut. Without a curator, MinitTV takes $0.10. With a curator, the platform fee is $0.05 and curator gets $0.05.

Where can I see my earnings?

Your Creator Dashboard shows real-time earnings broken down by story, episode, and referral source. You can see total earnings, pending balance, and a transaction history.

How and when do I get paid?

Withdraw your earnings from your Creator Dashboard anytime once you reach the $10.00 minimum. A $1.00 processing fee is deducted per withdrawal.

Payout example:
$50 balance → $1 fee → $49 received

Payouts are processed within 5–10 business days. You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your earnings.

Working with Curators
What is a curator and how do they help me?

Curators are audience builders who promote stories to their followers using referral links. When someone a curator referred buys an episode of your story, you share a portion of the revenue with them.

Think of curators as your distribution partners — they grow your audience, you reward them for actual purchases they drive.

How does the curator split work?

The curator split is fixed at $0.05 per episode — it's not something you set. When a curator refers a sale, $0.05 goes to them automatically from the platform share. You still keep $0.10, MinitTV takes $0.05 on curator-referred sales (vs $0.10 on organic).

Attracting curators is a great way to grow your audience — they drive viewers to your content at no extra cost to you.

Content Rules
Before you upload — read the Content Policy.
MinitTV enforces strict content rules. Stories that violate the policy are rejected, and repeated violations may result in suspension.

All stories go through a moderation review before appearing on the platform. Approval typically takes 1–2 business days. If your story is rejected, you'll see the reason in your creator dashboard and can fix + resubmit.

Curator Qualification
What is a curator?

Curators are audience builders who earn money by recommending MinitTV stories. You share referral links, and every time someone you referred purchases an episode, you earn a cut — automatically, forever.

Curators earn because they drive actual purchases — not just clicks or signups.

How do I become a curator?

You qualify as a curator once you've referred 10 unique viewers, each of whom purchases at least one episode they found through your link.

Graduation progress example
6 / 10 unique referred viewers — 4 more to go

Your progress is tracked in real-time on your curator profile page.

How do I start referring viewers before I'm qualified?

Create a viewer account, then visit any episode or story page. You'll find a Share button that generates your unique referral link. Start sharing it — every referred viewer counts toward your 10-viewer graduation goal.

How Curator Earnings Work
How much do I earn per episode?

Curators earn a fixed $0.05 per episode whenever a viewer they referred purchases an episode. This rate is the same across all stories on MinitTV — there's no variation by creator.

Fixed split: You earn $0.05 per referred episode purchase → the creator earns $0.10, MinitTV takes $0.05.
How does attribution work?

Each referral link is unique to you. When someone clicks your link and later purchases an episode from that story, the purchase is attributed to you — even if they come back days later.

Attribution is per-episode, per-story. You earn on every episode that referred viewer buys from the story you linked to.

Can I refer viewers to multiple stories at once?

Yes. You can generate separate referral links for as many stories as you like. Build a curated collection and promote multiple series simultaneously. There's no cap on how many stories you can link to.

Where do I see my earnings?

Your curator profile page shows real-time earnings, total referred viewers, episodes purchased through your links, and your graduation progress. Once qualified, you'll also see a payout option.

How do curator payouts work?

Once you reach a $10.00 balance, you can request a withdrawal. A $1.00 processing fee is deducted per withdrawal request.

Payout example:
$25 earned → $1 fee → $24 received

Payouts are processed within 5–10 business days.

Using Your Links
Where can I share my referral links?

Anywhere your audience is — social media (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube), newsletters, blogs, Discord servers, WhatsApp groups, anywhere. The more relevant and engaged your audience, the more conversions you'll get.

What counts as fraudulent activity?

Using bots, fake accounts, or self-referrals to inflate your metrics is strictly prohibited. This results in immediate account termination and forfeiture of earnings. Curators earn by building real audiences — that's the whole point.
