Every time a viewer unlocks a monetized episode on MinitTV, your creator balance grows. Here's exactly when and how that balance turns into cash in your account — including the per-episode rate, which is currently provisional until final pricing is locked.
Payouts aren't automatic on every view. An episode only counts toward your payout balance when two conditions are met:
Once an episode reaches the platform's view threshold, it locks in as a monetized episode. Until then, views count toward that threshold but don't yet accrue payout credit. The exact threshold lives in your dashboard so you can track each episode's progress.
You toggle ads on per episode, in your creator settings. Payout credit only accrues on episodes with ads enabled — disabling ads on a monetized episode pauses further credit until you turn them back on. Default is off so nothing changes without your action.
MinitTV runs a single payout batch per calendar month, on a fixed day. Every eligible creator's accumulated balance is processed in that batch — no per-request chaff.
You need a balance of at least $10 at the time the batch runs for any payout to be issued. Balances below the threshold roll over to the next cycle automatically — nothing is lost, and there's no penalty for crossing the threshold mid-month.
MinitTV supports two payout methods. You pick one in creator settings and it's reused for every monthly batch until you change it.
Funds pushed straight to a connected Stripe account. Fastest route to a US bank — typically 2 business days once the batch runs. Recommended for US-based creators with an existing or easily-created Stripe account.
Direct ACH or SEPA transfer to a verified bank account, depending on region. Slightly slower than Stripe Connect but available everywhere Stripe isn't, and doesn't require a third-party account on your end.
You'll earn a flat per-monetized-episode rate every time a viewer unlocks an episode that meets both eligibility rules above. The final rate is being locked between $0.10 and $0.20. Until that decision ships, the rate placeholder reads $0.XX and the page is marked provisional.
Your balance accrues as viewers unlock monetized episodes. When you cross the $10 threshold and the next monthly batch runs, we push funds via your configured payout method. Funds typically arrive in 5–10 business days, with platform processing fees passed through at cost (the same $1 flat fee framing already used on our FAQ — no markup).
Create your creator account, upload your first story, and toggle ads on once an episode hits the view threshold. Your monthly payout will run automatically.
